My artwork shows a woman who Is surrounded by darkness but Is colored with all the colors, and stars In the galaxy. The subject of matter In my artwork Is just astronomy, the stars and the colors. Because I couldn't really think of a name, and was In a rush to pick one, I just decided to call It the galaxy girl. Some of the most noticeable elements in my art are line and value. In this painting, emphasis is the most noticeable principle. To create this piece I used acrylic paints, I just used a different variety of paint brushes. I had to layer, and go over many parts of the painting, and to create the stars I just added paint to the tip of a pointed brush and either flicked the bristles, or tapped It lightly against my hand.
What Inspired me to create this painting, was just seeing a geometric side profile of a woman, and for the colors I just already knew I wanted colors that went well together to make It feel and look magical, and majestic. I didn't really think to express anything specific while creating this piece, but It shows that the woman has absorbed all the colors and stars from the galaxy around her. I would say It just shows a soul, and how I feel like a soul would look like. The feeling I want people to get when they look at this, Is just a peaceful, and calm feeling. My goal as an artist is to just improve, there is always room for growth, and I just believe there is no limit to improvement in art. I would say this piece helped me get a bit closer to my goal, I think every art piece I work on, and keep is an improvement from the last. Just from creating this art piece I've learned how planning and sketching before hand Is really helpful, usually I'd just find inspiration and immediately begin working on the piece without planning the colors, or surroundings beforehand. I personally like this art piece, but I do see some things that I should improve on. Because of this piece, in the future i'll plan out my next piece of work more carefully beforehand, and be more open to even more creative ideas like this.
In this art piece, I used a lot of different shades of purple, white, black and red. I named this art piece Nightmare during snowfall, I chose this title because I have had nightmares about giants multiple times, and I don't like the cold so I wanted the setting to give me the same uncomfortable feeling as my nightmare. To create this piece I used acrylic paints, and to create the snow falling from the sky, I added white to the tip of a medium squared paint brush, and flicked the paint onto the canvas. In my painting I wanted It to give off an uneasy feeling when you look at it. I feel like this piece did help me explore some more creativity, and gave me the opportunity to paint an Idea of my own. What I learned from creating this artwork Is that when making art, It's Important to just let yourself be creative.

In this recent art work I created, there's a lot of different shades of gray included, and you can see some flowers. To create this, I used smoke from a candle to make the smokey effect, then drew flowers on top of the darkest parts. At first I wasn't sure what to add onto the smoke, so I just drew what I had the most experience with, and that was flowers. My goal for this art piece was just to really capture the smoke onto the paper, and although In my opinion It was difficult, In the end It turned out alright. Overall I think It looks nice, and I hope I can Improve on this technique.
In this piece I used a lot of bright colors, most of them being warm, but some cool colors can be seen at some of the corners. To create this I added the colors into the container filled with a clear substance, then used a tool to create the design. My goal for this art piece was to be able to make a beautiful, kinda marble like design. Overall I think It came out gorgeous, and I hope I can try this again but with a different variety of colors.

In this art work I did Ink blowing, and I Included a Deer, with antlers that resemble tree branches. To create this I used a straw to make the antlers, Then I drew the Deer and used water colors to add more color. My goal for this piece was to make it have an autumn/fall vibe with the warm colors, and the forest setting. Overall I like this piece, because I love Deer, and Fall Is my favorite season.
In this photo, for my anything but a canvas assignment, I used acrylic paint and chose a phone case as my option. First I looked for reference options, then picked my favorite and sketched it onto the phone case. I had to use a bunch of different sized paintbrushes, and I used the colors hot pink, white, and yellow. My goal was for this to still be a pretty, and soft colored phone case, and I just wanted it to be cute. Overall I think it came out cute, and In the future I would want it bit less chunky because of the paint layers.

The subject of matter in this art piece Is the octopus. To create this I used water colors and a pencil, For the watercolors I used the blotting method to create the texture. For this piece, I wanted It to give off a more quiet and peaceful vibe. My goal while creating this was to make the octopus as detailed as possible, and to make t the main focus. Overall I wish I had added more to the background, but I am pleased with the octopus.
The subject of matter in this art piece Is the panda. To create this I used watercolors for the inside of the box, and on the outside I used a sharpie pen to create the tree texture. For this piece, I wanted It to give off a colorful look, and a warm feel. My goal while creating this was to try to add enough texture to the piece, and make the inside of the box colorful. Overall I like how it turned out, but I would have like a better texture on the outside of the box for the leaves, and on the inside of the box I wish I did better on the tree leaves as well.

The subject of matter in this art piece are the frogs. To create this I used acrylic paint. For this piece, I wanted It to be colorful , and wanted to get the style as similar to cubism as I possibly could. My goal while creating this was to stick to the nature theme, and for the art to give off a happy, warm feeling. Overall I do love how it turned out, but to improve it I would go over the lake part that is near the sunset because the muddy colors aren't that pleasant to look at in my opinion.
